This book on banking was written in 1983 by Murray Rothbard. It's a
description of money, the banking system with lots of detail on
central banks and the Federal Reserve System. He was a respected
Economist, educated in math and then a PhD in Economics. He's
described as one of the early libertarians and a thinker from the
Austrian School. He studied with Ludwig von Mises in the 1950s.
Topics covered include the history of world currencies, banking in the
United States, inflation, central banking, and the modern Federal
Reserve system.
